For the first time ever, SAPE will include a special exhibition on industrial safety. This exhibition will display products of a number of companies, including the ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. (Atomredmetzoloto JSC).

This year, pursuing the concept of zero accident, ARMZ began to implement the system of Smart helmets in its subsidiaries. The implementation of Smart helmets is a small but very important step in the process of creation of a digital platform, which should be accomplished at the very beginning, said Vyacheslav Galaktionov, Director of Information Technology at ARMZ Uranium Holding Co.

There are GPS trackers built into the helmets. They transmit a signal to a dispatcher in case an employee falls down or receives a jolt, and also allows one to control location of people indoors and outdoors. Besides, employees of enterprises will be provided with bracelets with built-in heart rate and body temperature sensors. If necessary, in the absence of other means of communication, this bracelet will transmit an alarm signal to a dispatcher's supervision board.

Smart helmets technology was successfully tested on the Russia's first Smart polygon for the production of uranium, arranged on the Istochnoye field in the Baunt Evenk Autonomous District of the Republic of Buryatia. The project is part of a unified digital ROSATOM strategy that allows to improve productivity and economic efficiency of production. “We expect that this innovation will help us to minimize violations of labor discipline and improve the performance of workers,” said Roman Naryshkin, Head of the Information Technology Department of Hiagda JSC.
