The Suksun Optical and Mechanical Plant ROSOMZ develops and produces effective personal protection devices and respiratory protective equipment for the safety of workers in harmful and hazardous working environments.
Thinking of health and safety of workers, this year, SOMZ JSC will display ergonomic personal protective equipment for working at heights at the SAPE 2019 exhibition:
- a protective helmet SOMZ-19 Zenit. The helmet is EN 397 certified and meets the requirements of new regulations for working at heights. The equipment features a special design that provides safety and comfort throughout the work shift. A chin strap is attached to the helmet body at four points.
- a protective helmet SOMZ-58 Arktika. This helmet is a true label of our personal protective equipment. SOMZ-58 Arktika can without exaggeration be called the largest protective helmet on the market. The headband size is adjustable in the range of 52–72 cm. It is designed for working in cold climatic conditions and wearing above a winter insulated balaclava or a fur hat. The operating temperature of the protective helmet ranges from -50°C to +50°C. The helmet is also equipped with a chin strap for working at heights.
